...We always take responsibility for everything...

I live here, I work here, I go shopping here, my family as well as my friends live here. And who lives here can see what the previous years have brought on us. Those who live here can see: there is a lot to do to improve our living conditions. I am truly convinced that we have set the right direction with my collegues. We are creating a future that can provide a comfortable and safety living for everyone. We meet citizens not only during election campaigns. We have been working very hard on great plans and not just on leaflets. The task is ahead, the government is behind – we are ready to put things in order and WE take responsibility for everything.

Let me introduce myself:

I am Attila Ughy, 45, living and working in the XVIII. district as a city politician. I take pride in my Transylvanian roots and Austrian-German ancestors. I attended the local primary school of Kassa street, then the Mátyás Hunyadi Grammar School. I graduated from Loránd Eötvös University, majoring in geography and history. On the parliamentary election of 1998 I got representative mandate from the capital city list of Fidesz. I worked as the independent representative of Bókay-estate and representative of the capital.

My positions:

  • President of the Urban Development and Cityscape-protection Committee of the General Assembly of Budapest between 2006-2010
  • Town councillor of Cityscape-protection and Urban Development of the General Assembly of Budapest, and the President of the Committee of the Utlity of Publicly Owned Land between 2010-2014
  • Mayor of Pestszentlőrinc – Pestszentimre, XVIII. district of Budapest; member of parliament and member of the Committee of the European Union Affairs between 2010-2014
  • On the municipal elections of october 2014 I got reelected as mayor.
